The mission of St. Paul Catholic School is to promote the development of lifelong learners and leaders, through an outstanding academic curriculum, anchored in our Catholic faith.
Book It - Book It will begin November 1st. Calendars will go home the first of each month. This program is completely optional.
Calendars will be due on the first of the following month.
Book Reports - Students will begin doing book reports in November. The genre will change monthly. Book report guidelines will be sent home at the beginning of each month. If the genre of the book your child is interested in reading is in question, www.scholastic.com has a link called Book Wizard. You can type in most book titles in order to find the genre as well as the approximate reading level. Samples of completed book reports are on display in the classroom for student reference. The book reports are due at the end of each month.
We are collecting Box Tops for Education again this year! Please look for them on your products, cut them out and send them in with your child. The homeroom teachers collect them, so please send them directly to the classroom. Thank you!
Completed student work will go home on Friday. Each student will bring home a blue Friday Folder containing their checked work. Please return Friday Folders on Mondays, thank you!
Important notes from the school office will go home each Friday in a red St. Paul folder. This folder is also where you will find progress reports and report cards when they are sent hime. Please return red folders on Mondays, thank you!
Homework: Homework that I post on the blog will be due the following day. If there is a due date other than the following day, that will be posted with the assignment. Should students finish an assignment on the day it is assigned, they may turn it in during class. Test dates will be posted on the homework blog link as well.
